
David Main - Chief Executive Officer
David joined Swets in January 2010 as Chief Executive Officer. He has a wealth of experience in managing and leading international services companies, internet and information based technology businesses and distribution services businesses. An avid traveller, he has also worked and lived in a number of countries throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
David holds a Bachelor in Commerce degree, is a Chartered Accountant and gained an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Han Stoop – Chief Financial Officer
Han joined Swets in January 2011 after serving as Chief Financial Officer for Wolters Kluwer and its Infinitas Learning Holding BV division. The holder of a Post Graduate Register Controller Certificate and a Masters Degree in Business Economics from the Vrij Universiteit in Amsterdam, Han speaks four languages and is a keen triathlete and winter sports enthusiast.

Debbie Dore - Chief Commercial Officer
Debbie Dore was appointed Swets’ Chief Commercial Officer in November, 2008. Prior to her appointment, Debbie was a Regional Director at Swets responsible for the business in North America, UK, Japan and Australia. Before that, she served as the MD of the UK Business, leading both the new business and customer retention strategies. She joined Swets Blackwell in 2000 to help manage the merger of Swets and Blackwell putting to good use her background in business and organizational development. Debbie is now responsible for Swets' Commercial and Sales operations worldwide.

Johan de Wit - Chief Information Officer
Johan joined Swets in March 2011. An Associate Director for the Dutch CIOnet, an international invitation-only network for CIO’s and IT directors, Johan joined Swets after an extensive career in which he has held a number of international, high level IT positions, including CIO of ING Bank for around 6 years. A keen traveller, Johan has also worked and lived in Turkey and India and enjoys flying small aircrafts in his spare time.

Elisabeth van Dijk – Chief Legal Officer
Appointed to the Swets’ Management Committee in 2004, Elisabeth van Dijk joined Swets in 1998 to establish its Legal Department. She is responsible for legal affairs, corporate governance and compliance in all Swets divisions across 26 countries. Elisabeth serves as the Company Secretary of Royal Swets & Zeitlinger’s Supervisory Board. She has been closely involved in the company’s numerous mergers, acquisitions, new set ups and divestments and has had an additional responsibility for HRM from 2006 until mid 2010. From 1994 to 1997, Elisabeth held a position as Legal Counsel in the IT industry. Prior to this, she served in legal teams at ABN AMRO and the National Investment Bank, working on international project financing, funding and facility arrangements.
Frans van Ette – Director Business Development
Graduating from Erasmus University Rotterdam with a Master’s Degree in Business Economics, Frans van Ette held several commercial roles in the telecommunication industry in the late nineties, before joining Swets as Manager Business Development in 2002. After an interlude of six years as the Marketing Director and as Commercial Director for Asia Pacific, Frans joined the Management Committee in 2010 as Director Business Development. In his current role, Frans explores growth opportunities for Swets in new markets and partnerships as well as leads the development of new products and services.
Nadine Beister - Director Human Resources
With a solid track record of more than ten years experience in change management, management consultancy and international human resources, Nadine Beister joined the Management Committee in 2010 as Director Human Resources.
Fluent in four languages, Nadine holds an HBO Middle Management Diploma from Bell College, Maastricht, which she passed with Distinction. She is currently spearheading Swets’ strategic HR-development program for process optimization, employee engagement and performance management. Nadine is also responsible for Swets’ high potentials program and implementing an innovative knowledge sharing culture.
