Bulk Renewal

SwetsWise Subscriptions’ new Bulk Renewal functionality will allow you to handle all of your renewals, using your existing renewal workflows and procedures, in a fraction of the time it would normally take. Not only will it simplify your entire renewal process, but it will also provide you with the information needed to stay in control of the status of all your renewals.

Subscriptions structured in the way you want
Organize your subscriptions into different lists to match your internal requirements. SwetsWise will automatically generate the separate lists for you.




You can assign specific users to each renewal list. For instance, you could make a list specifically for the subject librarian that has to choose what should be renewed and what shouldn’t. You can provide these users with as little or as much access to other SwetsWise functionality as you wish. Additionally, you can assign an approver that has to review and approve the decisions made by the subject librarian handling a specific renewal list.

All vital information in one screen
In SwetsWise Subscriptions, all the options available for each subscription will be visible on one screen. Depending on the title options available you will be able to:

  1. Renew the subscription
  2. Upgrade the subscription to include the electronic format or move completely to an e-only version
  3. Cancel the subscription – if there are no cancellation restrictions placed on the subscription by the publisher due to an e-deal you have negotiated with that publisher
  4. Place the subscription on hold – informing Swets not to do anything with the subscription until further notice

Integrated into your workflow procedures
The Bulk Renewals feature can be fully integrated into your existing workflow procedures for renewing subscriptions. You have the choice of handling the entire process online or offline. If you would like to work offline, simply download the renewal list from SwetsWise as a CSV file. You can then merge this list with any other lists you may have and make all the amendments you desire. Once finished, upload the completed CSV file back into SwetsWise and your amendments will be automatically updated.
