Pre-populated database of standard publisher licenses

To overcome one of the main problems with managing your licenses, SwetsWise eSource Manager comes pre-populated with a database of over 850 standard publisher license agreements. This allows you to view the details on 45 different fields of the publisher’s license conditions. Instead of having to type in all the details of all the licenses you have signed with publishers, with SwetsWise eSource Manager you can easily choose one of the publisher’s standard licenses as your basis and then change only those conditions that you have negotiated differently with the publisher reducing your effort significantly.

All the information that is gathered on the publisher’s standard license conditions follow the DLF’s (Digital Library Federation) ERMI2 definitions. The 45 tracked fields are those that our customers have indicated as the most important information they would like to see about a license.

Quickly know which journals are available with which licenses

As part of the pre-populated database of licenses, SwetsWise eSource Manager also provides a complete listing of all publications a publisher offers under that specific license. With a simple click of a button you can identify those publications that you actually have access to due to the license, but also easily see which other publications you could obtain access for that fall under that license
