David Main - Chief Executive Officer
David joined Swets in January 2010. He comes to Swets with a wealth of experience working with international services companies, internet and information based technology businesses, and distribution services business. An avid traveller, he has also worked and lived in a number of countries throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.
David holds a Bachelor in Commerce degree, is a Chartered Accountant and gained an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Jan Vos - Chief Financial Officer
Jan Vos was appointed Chief Financial Officer in September 2009. He joined Swets from Reed Elsevier, where he held a similar position. Jan has extensive business and financial experience, holding high-level positions in companies such as Elsevier Science and holds a degree in Business Administration from the Rijks Universiteit in Groningen.
Debbie Dore - Chief Commercial Officer
Debbie Dore was appointed Swets’ Chief Commercial Officer in November, 2008. Prior to her appointment, Debbie was a Regional Director at Swets responsible for the business in North America, UK, Japan and Australia. Before that, Debbie served as Swets’ UK Head of Sales, leading both the new business and customer retention strategies. She initially joined Swets Blackwell in 2000 to manage the people processes linked to the merger of Swets and Blackwell. With her background in business and organizational development, Debbie has guided many organizations in improving their business performance through effective people strategies and is now responsible for Swets' Commercial and Sales operations worldwide.
Johan van Campen - Chief Information Officer/Chief Operations Officer
Johan van Campen joined Swets in April 2007 from ING Bank Netherlands, where he was head of the operations centre for commercial loans and current accounts, and responsible for information technology. In this position, he streamlined the current account operations of Postbank and delivered a number of major compliance projects. He is highly experienced with operational management, Lean Six Sigma, and the leverage of information technology within a company. Prior to ING, Johan worked in information technology for ten years with the Royal Dutch Navy, where he held various positions, including Project Manager and Manager Development and Maintenance.
Elisabeth van Dijk – Chief Legal & HRM Officer
Appointed to the Swets’ Executive Board in 2004, Elisabeth van Dijk joined Swets in 1998 to establish its Legal Department. Responsible for legal issues in Swets divisions across 24 countries, Elisabeth has been closely involved in the company’s numerous mergers, acquisitions and divestments. In addition, Elisabeth serves as the Company Secretary of Royal Swets & Zeitlinger’s Supervisory Board and Audit Committee. In 2006, Elisabeth additionally took up the responsibility for human resource management. From 1994 to 1997, Elisabeth held diverse positions as Legal and Fiscal Counsel in the IT industry. Prior to this, she served in legal teams at ABN AMRO and the National Investment Bank, working on international project financing, funding and facility arrangements.
