SwetsWise Consolidation offers you a whole range of additional time saving, value added services, such as inserting security strips into journals or adding circulation strips and stickers. Beyond those capabilities our automatic check-in process, which is compatible with many library systems, provides you with the unique possibility of processing hundreds of titles at once, reducing your internal administration considerably.

Proactive claiming
SwetsWise Consolidation will monitor the publication schedules of all of the journals you subscribe to and automatically claim any late or missing issues for you. Value added services

Circulation services
We attach a circulation list to each journal. The circulation list shows the title, ISSN, year, volume, issue, frequency, customer references, information regarding the reader and possibly some free text. These details can be updated via SwetsWise. Circulation lists can be taped or stapled to the issues.

Special sticker service
In response to requests from our customers, we have developed several special sticker layouts that differ from the standard SISAC barcode labels that are attached to all issues. Instead of the SISAC barcodes, specified information can be printed on the barcode sticker, such as name of the reader and/or department. These details can be updated via SwetsWise.

Classification labels
A small label (25 x 35 mm) can be produced for each issue. These labels are stuck separately onto each issue. On every label there is space available for 7 lines of 13 characters each. These details can be updated via SwetsWise.

Security strips
Security strips are small, anti-theft strips glued into books and journals.

Sealing issues
Issues can be put in a sealed or taped plastic bag. This service can be used for loose leaf publications and titles that often include enclosures, such as CD ROMs, or issues with circulation lists attached.

Sorting issues
All issues included in one shipment can be sorted in alphabetical order, if requested.

Stamp issues
You can provide us with an ownership stamp and a stamp can then be placed on all issues processed.

Packing list split
The standard packing list included in all shipments can be split. This service can be used for multiple customers on one shipping address.

Packing options
SwetsWise Consolidation offers varying packing options such as a maximum weight per box, various box sizes, the option of having collection lists in each box, etc.

Claims
Consolidation issues that have been published but not received are claimed with the publishers. Claims are generated automatically by our business system and dispatched to the appropriate publisher. Claims are generated if an expected issue has not been received, based on an actual publication date. We remind publishers on a regular basis and escalate if a claim remains outstanding.
